Jumping from the present to the distant future, going back into the past, struggling with deepfake manipulations, listening in a prehistoric cave; these are some of the journeys that can be embarked upon in Who Are You? The makers of eight recent Dutch Extended Reality works challenge the participants to question their identity in a virtual environment in which you can lose yourself and which raises the question of who we are if all images, facts and experiences can be manipulated.

With Floating with Spirits + Bodies of Water (41’) and Flow + 8 Billion Selves (37’), De Cinema presents two unique VR programs where dance, natural forces, and identity merge into immersive audiovisual artworks.
